For those of you who don't know, mine and Alyssa's love story began at the bussers station in The Keg on Victoria Ave. I was a busser, and Alyssa was a hostess. Our Dads were always notorious for picking us up late, so luckily it worked out so the two of us could chat while waiting for a ride. We started our relationship as friends and transitioned into dating a year after we met.

The Next Step
We carpooled to Mohawk College together for two years, where Alyssa and I would wait for hours on end for each other to finish class so we could spend more time together. During that time I worked at TGI Friday's to bartend, and Alyssa was given the okay by The Keg management to transfer over to serve as well.
2018 was our first time moving in together in Grimsby on the lake, we lived there for 3 years with our fur baby Jeffery.
The Engagement
In 2019 I rented a room in a bed and breakfast in Kingston, I proposed the first night there on valentines day. I had a plan to propose the next night, but I got nervous and figured last minute that it would make more sense to propose on Valentine's Day. I proposed in front of the fireplace in our room. Since the plan was to propose the next night I didn't have any dinner reservations planned, and not having reservations on valentines day meant walking around Kingston in -25 hoping someone has a table. We went to a little cafe and made some calls with the exciting news to family and tried our luck with Milestones, we explained the situation and they sat us in the lounge and gave us champagne.
